Project: D34223 installation @ Frecuencias exhibit
Date: 2012
Place: Plazarte, Medellin
With: Alejandro Henao
Multi-channel installation created by Alejandro Henao and Miguel Isaza for Frecuencias sound art exhibition curated by David Vélez and Felipe Rodriguez. The piece was developed from recordings of sounds extracted from a computer CPU through air (conventional microphones), the solid object itself (contact microphones) and electromagnetic fields (DIY capturing device). From microsound processes a composition was developed with the idea of manifesting a sonic environment created between organic and synthetic. A resulting composition was published in local label Monofónicos in 2012.
